Too lazy to broadcast again so will hope some of you check back here: I've just discovered that by default Special:ListUsers doesn't list people with four edits or fewer, so the list of admins is actually the list of users with five edits or more.  Still, that's probably about right for now. Thanks for the adminification. I promise to use my awesome powers only for good. Feel free to delete this note once read. Gjm11 11:54, 21 April 2009 (UTC)

I see you're a relatively active admin.

I also see that very few local groups have their own wiki pages (I only found Physical Meetup in Sydney). Is this discouraged at all, or have groups just not chosen to do this?

I ask because at Less Wrong Melbourne we're deciding on a place we can use as a central point for anything we want to post - e.g. links to audio files and slides from talks, information about the group, or projects. --Chriswaterguy (talk) 21:15, 30 September 2015 (AEST)

Using this wiki for a local Less Wrong group?

Hi Paul,

I see you're a relatively active admin.

I also see that very few local groups have their own wiki pages (I only found Physical Meetup in Sydney). Is this discouraged at all, or have groups just not chosen to do this?

I ask because at Less Wrong Melbourne we're deciding on a place we can use as a central point for anything we want to post - e.g. links to audio files and slides from talks, information about the group, or projects. --Chriswaterguy (talk) 21:15, 30 September 2015 (AEST)

I'm not "in charge", but it makes perfect sense to me for local groups to have pages here, it's strange to me too that they don't already. I'd say go for it and see if anyone complains. Ciphergoth (talk) 23:53, 30 September 2015 (AEST)
