Double redirects

When you change a page into a redirect, be aware that the pages that used to redirect to that page won't follow a double redirect, and so, for example, links like Unfriendly AI are now effectively defunct. You need to update all of them, using "What links here" tool on the Unfriendly artificial intelligence page. --Vladimir Nesov 12:09, 11 November 2009 (UTC)

See Special:DoubleRedirects for a list of these double redirects. Also, when you want to rename a page, use the "move" link at the top, don't just copy and paste the page's contents. That way the page's history will still be there in the new page, and it will automatically make the redirect for you. --PeerInfinity 14:27, 11 November 2009 (UTC)

Right, I moved the page properly now (but redirects are on Zack). --Vladimir Nesov 15:16, 11 November 2009 (UTC)
Oh, dear; sorry about this. All double redirects have been eliminated; thanks for the help, both of you. --Zack M. Davis 19:44, 11 November 2009 (UTC)
